Re: Droid Bionic AUX car stereo cable won't fit

I have used two different generic stereo audio cable with 3.5mm jack and have plugged it into several different audio devices including into car radio auxilliary jacks. The one thing I found is that the jack must be fully inserted into the socket. Make sure the socket is clean. Some have had to use a pin or suction to dig lint out.

Re: Droid Bionic AUX car stereo cable won't fit

I have had one, but only one, that would not work and this is due to the angle of the jack on the Bionic(the jack is not flat) and the aux cable would hit on the shoulder and not be able to be inserted all the way into the hole to make the correct connection. It seemed to have a little more plastic around the connector than most which is why it would hit. But I have used quite a few different ones since then and haven't had any issues. I just looked to make sure they didn't have a big connector to interfere. Sounds like you may have grabbed two like that.

Sounds like an issue with the cable.
