The Bionic will not be cancelled and is well on track for the expected release date. The issues that alot of people are claiming are due to release to larger testing group. Does the device have issues?? YES.. will be kill a release? NO chance in hell.. Its a 4.3 inch display dual core proc device running LTE, so battery and performance tweaks are ongoing with Motorola on a almost daily basis..

calm down and dont let the Tinfoil Hat people get ya down

OMG thank you so much Panda! You really are the best and always will be! I'm so glad right now, this OG Droid is starting to drive me up the wall. I hope that expected date hasn't changed from the mid to late April mentioned in your previous poems? Anyway, thanks so much. I knew that guy from HoFo wasn't to be trusted as they are from PhoneArena and that happens to be a very biased and uninformed site. Once again, thanks so much! I have no idea what I would do without you and your insight!

On track is at latest the 28th of April. Are you saying that is still possible, a 2 week window from announcement to release?

Thank You Blackman X!!! I get so tired from hearing Speculations from another forum what somebody claimed to be wrong with the phone because it has not been released yet. The 2ndQ ends in June. So we got until then for the release!!! All we can do is be patient and wait!!! If you want a 1 year contract then you need to go ahead and get another Phone. I have been doing 2 year contracts as long as I remember so it will not affect me!!!

I guess the real question is what is "on track"

Since there have been so many different dates thrown around, i dont even know what on track is anymore.

At CES early Q2 was the date, so that is within April. Going by Blackmanx's poem a month back, if everyones interpretation is correct, then that also means end of April.

The supposed leaked roadmaps say May.

Analyst says end of May, early June. June 9th is also thrown out there.

And other analyst are saying it wont even make it in time for Q2.

So, i would really know which date is on track.

btw, not doubting your information, just would like to know what date on track is refering to.

TB was delayed as we all know by quite a bit and from what we heard it was battery related. If Moto is in fact having issues with a 1900MA + battery - Wow -- Could hit the June or later Tiered release date. TB was expected to have battery issues due to history of HTC and poor battery and the 1300MA battery.

It is still not delayed.. We know it is having problems but I never heard of it being a battery issue. That has always been an HTC issue.

technically TB was never really delayed as all the release dates were made up, and nothing official from verizon or HTC.

I just received a phone call from a VZW rep yesterday asking me if I would like to "upgrade" early and get a TB. I asked her why I would do that when the Bionic is coming out, and I still have several months left on my 2 year contract. She says... "...well we aren't sure when that phone will be released. What if you can't wait long enough with your Droid?"

When I told her that I loved my Droid and that I would be happy with it forever, except for the fact that this Bionic is coming out soon, she said... "Well when you decide that you can't wait any longer feel free to give me a call back and pick up a TB."

Take that as you will...

PS - I am still waiting for the Bionic. I absolutely LOVE my OG Droid, and so far the Bionic is the ONLY phone that has enticed me enough to switch from it. It is giving me a bit of a headache lately though...
