How to unroot a droid charge from superuser

Please Help, I know nothing about rooting, I just purchased a phone off of ebay that was rooted, I don't have hardly any factory installed apps (i.e. navigation, backup assistant, or any of the described apps in the reviews) I am a rookie to these things.

Please help. How can I unroot this phone?

[ODIN] Stock Rooted ED1 (downgrade from ED2) [2011.05.18] - xda-developers

Try this one to get the root off your phone. You will need to download Odin to your computer along with the other files listed in the post. This is a rooted version of ED1 but as soon as you boot it up after the flash just accept the OTA update of ED2 and EE4 and you will no longer have the root. Hope this helps.

do u know if there is an odin download for mac? because that one didnt work. Btw THANKS

You have to use Heimdall on MAC. You should be able to google and find a download for it.

I am following the steps in the link you provided (Thank you), and am getting the an error in Odin. It says "MD5 hash value is invalid". Do you know how I can get around that?

redownload the file, if the hash check fails, it usually means it is corrupt.
