Is your usb plugged into the front or back of your computer (If plugged in front try back)
Is your battery in your phone (If so, try removing it)
Do you have your Virus scanner disabled on your PC

All of these are some issues I have run into with flashing in Odin

When plugged into odin, right before hitting start, did you place the battery back into the phone? This is and is not needed depending on what you are flashing.

Yup. You must leave your battery in when flashing via Odin.
