    Default Pre-OTA Update Procedure

    Hey all,

I rooted my Charge using these instructions. I know that if I just accept the Gingerbread OTA I'm gonna have a bad time. So, here's what i think I need to do before I accept the OTA:

    1: Backup my data.
2: Unfreeze/re-enable applications that I disabled after rooting (although I'm not sure this would be necessary since I'm flashing back to stock anyway).
3: Clear cache and any other volatile/temporary/non-data partitions using CWM Recovery.
4: Disable the Voodoo Lagfix. This appears to be done by touching the file "/sdcard/Voodoo/disable-lagfix" and rebooting.
5: Clear cache and other volatile/temporary/non-data partitions using CWM Recovery.
6: Flash back to stock EE4 ("first package" on this post).
    7: Accept the OTA update.
    8: ???
    9: Profit!

Is that it in a nutshell? Do I have to reboot the phone in any special way to make sure the phone doesn't accidentally install Gingerbread before I'm ready?

    Thanks in advance!
