    Default Just trying to restore to stock...

    Hey all,

    I got the Galaxy Nexus so I'm just trying to restore my Charge to stock software, but it keeps "FAIL"ing in Odin.

    I downloaded the Stock ED2 (last resort fix in the stickies), and I'm trying to ODIN the tar file just like I would normally do, but I'm getting a FAIL each time. No idea what's going on...

    Here is what ODIN is saying:

    <ID:0/006> File analysis..
    <ID:0/006> SetupConnection..
    <ID:0/006> Initialzation..
    <ID:0/006> Get PIT for mapping..
    <ID:0/006> Firmware update start..
    <ID:0/006> boot.bin
    <ID:0/006>
    <ID:0/006> Complete(Write) operation failed.
    <ID:0/006> Removed!!
    <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

    any ideas? Thanks

    If you are getting this error with the battery out, put the battery back in the phone and try again. Also, use a port in the back of your computer vs the front.

    I'm not ever able to flash without the battery in. You have to go into download mode with it out then put it when odin sees your phone.

    You might want to also include the PIT file when using ODIN to go back to Stock. That seems to help me get past the errors you are seeing.
