Default Rooted Phone but Can't Delete Bloadware - Root not working

I rooted my new Droid Charge following the directions online. I've rooted these phones before with no problems. After rooting I installed busy box and titanium backup. When I try to use TB to remove bloatware it says it cannot locate the apk file. If I try to manually remove or rename files using Root Explorer it says it can't do it.

Sometimes TB says it does not have root access, other times it does.

When I use root testing apps sometimes they say phone is rooted, other times they say it is not. Sometimes they say there may be a problem with root access.

I've gone thru the rooting process 15 times and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
