Re: motorola suprise this friday
Any alternative to the over hyped Galaxy S3 is welcomed. Samsung, despite all it's hype, still puts out a garbage product.

I hope I am wrong but it could be for Sprint's Photon 4 G phone too.

Sadly, nothing to see there. In recent post, they gave a new clue but stated it was an already released phone

Re: motorola suprise this friday
Why would they tease a phone that's already on the market?
Definitely don't believe that.
Fingers crossed for RAZR HD - 08-08-2012, 08:58 AM #9

Most pages that reported the story are starting to retract that its nothing more than fan socializing

Re: motorola suprise this friday
I'm truly disappointed. Samsung G3 is disappointing, RAZR MAXX is not what I want, hoping for something new from Moto but nothing coming. Contract ending in 2 weeks... no hope of the next best thing in sight.

Re: motorola suprise this friday
It truely is However in the forums, the two complaints I hear the most are about the Bluetooth not connecting easily and the wifi dropping out a lot as well as issues with dropped calls on all carriers (comes back to weak radios on Samsungs) and these are two very important things to me. If I have to drop my unlimited data I want a phone with a wifi radio that'll perform so I can lessen my 4G data usage

I love it it is a far better phone overall than my MAXX was . it doesnt drop anymore calls than the maxx did and it never dropps data the way the maxx always did . im loving it and encourage anybody to at least give it a try dont knock it just cause its a samsung .

Re: motorola suprise this friday
My contract ended in May of 2011 (last of the 1yr contracts) and I've been sitting around with my Droid X waiting for something compelling to buy. Nothing stuck out until the SGIII came along, so I went to VZW and tested it next to the Galaxy Nexus and RAZR Maxx. I'm a Motorola fan, but the RAZR came in a distant third in my testing. I liked the SGIII the most and bought one, but after spending 11 days with it, I gave it back to VZW with the intention of waiting for something from Motorola; Touchwiz is terrible and overbearing relative to the pure ICS on the Nexus or the Blur-skinned ICS on the RAZR Maxx, the capacity button and physical home screen buttons are poorly placed, and the phone feels brittle.
HOWEVER, switching back to my Droid X with slow 3G, lagginess, and battery-draining screen makes me really miss the practical functionality of the current LTE phones. I'm frustrated with this seemingly endless wait for a good high-end Motorola product. - 08-13-2012, 07:16 AM #24
Re: motorola suprise this friday
My S3 is runs great and is fast as hell. Never any lag. I haven’t had any dropped calls. Only complaint I have is the fact that Verizon removed the Wifi toggle from the drop down menu?? Ever other carrier has it. That's VERY minimal though. It's been a great phone so far. I swore I'd never go back to Sammy after the Fascinate but I took a chance and so far I am very happy with my decision. Just my opinion.
