Is there a quicker way to put the phone on vibrate? When I turn the volume down it goes straight to silent. I have to go in settings to turn it on.

I just want the phone to vibrate without sound

I use an app called quick profiles. Set it up to vibrate and when you need that profile, open and click vibrate. I have profiles for gym, sleep, silent, vibrate and work.

As you turn the volume down, the vibrate setting is right before silent.

Hold down power button and touch the bottom center vibrate icon on the pop up screen.

But this assumes Vibrate is checked under main settings. The stock texting app also has its vibrate toggle under Text settings.

You can also use the toggle from the lock screen.

Edit: I don't have vibrate turned on in the main settings and I'm able to use either of these methods.

Odd. I tested it and it vibrates for me for both phone calls and notifications. I have vibrate turned off for everything.

Yeah I toggled mine with the shortcuts but it didn't actually activate until I checked off the main Settings. :screwy:
