Phone getting hot

So my phone has been getting kinda hot over the last couple days even when not in use. Any ideas?

Turn it off for a bit
Clear the cache
Reboot the phone with power and volume down.
Turn off Google Now

I've noticed these phones get warm if they are in a low signal area. Also, if your phone is warm, its chewing up your battery.

Yep I think your'e exactly right. I noticed the warming issue at work which is a pretty poor signal but everything seems ok at home with a better signal.

Mine does this too, when pulling data in a low 4G signal area. It's working hard just to pull data. This happens on any phone.
