On my RAZZR M, With Jelly Bean, I have a Direct Dial widget set up that dials my voice mail just fine.

Is there a way for the password to automatically be entered instead of manually and/or to not use a password at all ?

I called Verizon tech support tonight. No way to automatically enter your password. For security reasons the password needs to be manually entered each time that you call your voice mail. Not very convenient. Oh well.

I think the verizon tech told you wrong! Here's what I did:
set up a new contact--call it voicemail2 or whatever
set the number to *86,****** (*'s being your password)
use the new contact for a direct dial widget

In the Apps list is one called "Voicemail". You can place the app wherever you want and it can be customized to dial *86,,your password# and be used as a direct dial and auto enter your password.

Setup is done in the call settings menu.
