razr m unlimited Data wifi hotspot

I am looking at purchasing a razr m or razr maxx but was wondering if the foxfi will work for with the grandfathered in data plan with unlimited data plan with out having to pay $30 a month for it.
Needing something I can use when i am on trips with no wifi connectivity.

I have grandfathered unlimited with S4 and foxfi works great. Not sure if motorola has blocked it. Foxfi does have list of phones its compatible with.

Yes, you can use foxfi for tethering without having the plan on Verizon. And, you don't have to have an unlimited data plan to do it.
