Question for Former Droid X Users
Right now I am between the Razr Maxx HD and the GSIII. I like a bunch of different things about the phone (Android version, smart actions, screen, and the super huge battery). My major hangup right now is the camera (plus the hackabiltiy, but I can get over that), because we all know how bad the camera was on the DX.
So I am wondering, has it gotten any better or should I go with the GSIII (which I don't think that touchwiz is that bad)? - 11-16-2012, 06:34 AM #2

I love my MAXX HD. The camera is great. I use Camera Zoom FX.

What does camera zoom fx do that the stock app doesn't?

Re: Question for Former Droid X Users
I will say this: if the camera is more important than other things...get an HTC or Samsung phone. Its fine, ok, good enough on the Maxx HD or Moto phones in general. I have read 3rd party apps help make it better. I heard this for the Bionic too.
Whats wild is there is a thread at another forum when the DX came out in 2010 and the pics were pretty good to me. I have a Rezound too...and the camera on that is nice. - 11-19-2012, 11:23 AM #5
Re: Question for Former Droid X Users
Well I didn't think the Droid X camera was bad and I don't think the camera on the Maxx HD is bad either. I'm guessing it's not as good as some of the competition based on the reviews and comparisons but for what I use the camera for, it is fine.
