I haven't here yet. It's slowly rolling out all week so I figure within the next few days it should push through.
Nothing here in NC

Nothing for me, either.
Not yet, but hopefully soon.

I'm sporting it and love it. Google now is better in my Maxx than my nexus 7!
I haven't gotten it yet either
Nope. Not yet.
Not here :(
Not I. I read it drains battery and adds nothing?Quote:

I haven't noticed a battery drain at all honestly. It actually ads quite a bit. Much smoother. My reception is better. Google now and the Google now cards are awesome. Lost foxfi which sucks but what cha gonna do.Quote:

I wouldn't go back to ICS the bean rocks

Did you factory reset before/after you took the update? Trying to decide if that's something I should do. I had a few issues with my regular RAZR going from GB to ICS.Quote:

I would love to go back to ICS. Light Flow doesn't work anymore, PocketCasts stutters playing back fully downloaded podcasts, and I've had three freezes in the last 24 hours. I see no benefits that even come close to outweighing these downsides. People also report that the Amazon app store is completely unstable and that battery life is worse. I'm not sure about the battery life yet.
I would suggest that your apps are just not updated to work well with JB. Something many developers have to do when the OS changes. Contact the developer. Hopefully, it really isn't a OS bug.Quote:

I appreciate your optimism but I see no benefits to this update. Everything was great with ICS. I want to go back.Quote:

Soak test, I presume.
I can neither confirm nor deny this.Quote:

Reminder: these updates happen in phases. On some days during the roll-out, the update will be pushed randomly to various devices. There is no need to check for updates. At the end of the "push" period, the update will be available for "pull" for all devices. The "push" period usually lasts about one week.
Check in on [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], [Only registered and activated users can see links. Or just keep an eye on [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] as they'll probably do a follow-up story when "pull" is available.
Your location or when you bought your phone is irrelevant. There is no need to post "I'm in [insert city here] and still haven't received the update" or "I bought my phone on [insert date here] and I just got the update!".
you can put ICS back on your phone. Just look around for the instructions. I cant confirm or deny either, but I actually prefer the JB update. Phone runs nice now.
You really see the phone running more smoothly? In what respects? My home screen re-renders much more frequently, I've had freezes when I've never had freezes before, and my favorite third party apps don't work as well as they used to. I had zero issues with ICS other than with the stock email app pulling in emails, but that was a rare issue.
I'm happy that you're happy, but it's strange that we have such different reactions. What benefits are you seeing? What's working better now? Is nothing worse?
Cleveland, OH here - and NOTHING yet pushed to my phone. RATS!
It has been silky smooth. I read notes that indicated that the 1st day or so after the upgrade would have worse battery life, mainly due to the background tasks running post upgrade, but a 1 time thing only. Maybe I have fewer added apps than you. I have may 30+ added, no problems with any of them so far. Been on the upgrade for almost 3 days now, so thats hardly any time to fully test everything. I am rooted, and other than running TB, and freezing the bloatware, no other root modifications. I do not use any other launcher's either. Wifi seems to hold connection much better, used to disconnect often.
Didnt like the fact that there was more amazon bloat-ware added, but that has been remedied. :)
I agree totally. After the update I rebooted. Had a few issues, nothing major and rebooted again. Everything's worked fine and much better than it did on ICS.
I'm not rooted. Running a few apps but mostly bummed about foxfi.
