File recovery with completely inop screen

Dropped the phone and have completely killed the screen.
Unfortunately the camera pictures are stored on the internal memory.
When I USB the phone to the computer I can see the external card only.
Any ideas!

Did you have an internal storage drive shown before? Connected via MTP (media device)?

No. there is an option to mount the drive or something. That I never did.
I have heard that there is a unit or base station that you could possibly plug into and make it work.??

What OS? I'm using Win 7 and connecting the phone to the PC/Laptop works just fine. Make sure you get the appropriate drivers. Check the link below.

In fact, recently, I have also encountered this similar SD card data loss problem and learned a lot by reading many threads and articles.
In fact, my SD card is just formatted by my brother and all wanted data is gone. However, fortunately, I have found a video tutorial that tells about how to rescue data back from memory card:

It is really useful for me and helps me restore all my precious photos.
So, it may give you some clues, too.
You should learn to make data back all time, just like me.
