    Default Why does Waze crash all the time?

    Has anyone found a way to fix this? Is it a RAM issue?

    I doubt it. I was running it on my Droid X with no problems and it only had 512 MB, and running ICS. Actually I don't remembering it ever crashing. The only reason I stopped using it was because Google Nav has a better search.

    Wow someone actually posted about this. I've been using Waze for a week now and mine always closes and switches off, no longer in the status bar. I emailed them but no answer yet.

    Is this what you mean by crashing?

    I think you're talking about how it just sometimes disappears, as though you never opened it. I'm talking about force closes with error messages. Happens every time I use the app.

    Here's their other reply. Shows iPhone but I stated I'm on Android to them...it's probably the same or close enough.

    Itshouldn't close, seems like crash, if it's happens again please send us log files (make sure to be in debug mode first).



    Without the log files (using DEBUG MODE) we can't locate and fix your problem.

    If Waze crash on start please follow this manual:iPhone Crash on start


    How to turn on Debug Mode

    Go toNavigate>> search for2##2(to enter to debug mode):



    Restart your phone, now reproduce the issue and send us the log files:

    To send log files, open the Menu >> Settings >> and choose Help:



    Choose Send Logs:



    Click Yes to send us the logs:





    (Android and Jailbroken iPhones with iFile or ssh access):

    Another way to send us logs is to connect the device to your PC, locate Waze folder and send us the files:

    waze_log.txtAndroid.plcrashgps_csv



    After sending the logs, please email us with your user name, the date and time when the logswere sent (click here to email us).



    (To turn off debug mode search again for 2##2).
