I'm new to Android so I'm not really sure how the updates to Android work out. From what I understand the actual updates are up to the manufacturers and carriers which means even if newest Android update comes out it might not get pushed to your phone.
From what I've read, the 4.1.2 version on this phone is basically the same as 4.2.2 Jellybean? Forgive my naivety but its all kind of confusing. (If this isn't the case, is there a timetable for 4.2.2?)
Now beyond if this is the latest update or not, how is Motorola/Verizon with rolling the updates out? Its not a huge deal to wait a bit but I've heard of certain phones languishing for a long time without getting the latest Android OS upgrade.
A week in and definitely digging the phone so far.
