I've had my Maxx HD for almost 4 months now, and I'm loving it. I'm weirdly obsessive about tracking the battery, and I've charted out how much different use affects battery life, and its almost down to a science. For background: Totally stock phone, don't use any power saving apps or smartactions, almost no bluetooth or NFC, push email on 3 accounts - gmail, stock email app, and outlook.com app. Always auto-brightness.
1 hour of talk = 10% drain
1 hour of screen time (browsing, texting, other basic usage) = 10% drain
1 hour of locally stored music = 3% drain
1 hour of standby on good wifi connection = .5% drain
1 hour of standby on cellular = 1-2% drain depending on quality of connection
1 hour of local video or streamed on good wifi = 8-10% drain
1 hour of graphics intense game that gets the phone hot (like subway surfers) = 20% drain
1 hour of screen on navigation = 15-20% drain
just curious to see how this matches up with what others are seeing.
