UNROOTED Maxx HD but still showing qe 1/1! Need help

I have a Motorola Maxx HD and a Bionic and they both have been flashed to stock. I've done everything. Flashed the FXZ to the phone AND the JB update file. The phone ISN'T rooted. I unrooted prior to flashing. I need to get the phone to check for root and show a NOT ROOTED (in programming menu) and qe 0/1 for WAS rooted but no longer. I have a few phones to send back to VZW and rather not take the chance! I'm running the latest 4.1.2 update. I don't understand if the phones are NOT rooted anymore WHY they show qe1/1.

I'm pretty sure if flashing doesn't reset you can't.
I wouldn't worry about it. I've sent phone back with status showing rooted.
