Will Costco have Razr Maxx on 1-26?

I have never upgraded a Verizon phone at Costco. I am thinking of buying/upgrading to a Razr Maxx because of the 90 day return period. Gosh- what if a better phone comes out before 90 days? Does anybody have an idea if Costco will be selling the Maxx on 1-26 either on line or in store?

I would assume, it seems as though they have been getting all of the good phones recently. I got my razr there and have already got $90 back from the coupons and lower price, which will make it hard for me to switch up the the maxx

Why is the Maxx $299? Isn't/Wasn't the RAZR $199? It doesn't seem that much worse to get the RAZR and just get a spare battery..

Am I missing something/is it likely to go down in a few weeks?

What spare battery? The battery is not replaceable.

The Razr when it first came out was $299. They just dropped it to $199 when the Razr Maxx was announced.

The RAZR only recently dropped to $199... before that it was $299. Most new smartphones start at a premium to start and as soon as they have the next big thing it will drop price... look at the Droid 3, which just dropped because the Droid 4 is going to be released possibly as early as next week.

By all means get the RAZR... it's exactly the same except for the battery size... and as you can tell by other comments there is NO spare battery and NO way to replace the battery in the RAZR, you can not even remove the battery in any of these RAZR's.

The razr is still 299. The 199 price is for the 16gb one.

But I got my Razr ffom Costco for 200 USD and it came with the 16 GB micro SD card. Then again Costco always does special deals.

Stopped by the Costco in Austin, TX today. He didn't know about the Maxx, although he said I was the second person to ask about it. He messaged his rep so I guess I'll stop by again in a few days and see if he's heard anything. He did say they sell many more Razr's than Nexus's. Their free extra pack does include the HDMI cable and the external portable battery recharger. Not a bad deal.

My wife called and the kiosk rep said we would not be able to return our G-nexs since it is more than 30 days since we got them. I thought they had a 90 day return policy. Rep said will only return for the same phone after the 30 days is up. Any truth to this? Want the RAZR as cell phone reception sucks bad on the G-nex. Too many dropped calls. Never dropped calls with my DroidX.

As of today, 1-27-12, Costco does not have the Maxx. I am going to wait until this weekend and then order from Verizon. I don't get back home until Wed. PM

Yeah I think it's only 90 days if you're returning the phone and not exchanging it for a different phone or something. Also I went to Costco today and the people at the kiosks said that Costco is still negotiating a good price to get the Droid Razr Maxx cheaper than Costco's competitors and the salespeople said it might take a month. My Dad said that before my current Razr's 30 days runs out I should switch to another phone to renew the 30 day return policy until the Maxx is available for Costco. So yeah I think that can work for other people also.

Yeah. If not I might have to switch from my Razr to something else to renew the 30 day policy. I'm thinking either an HTC Rezound or the Galaxy Nexus. Which I'm hoping I don't need to do because I already love the Razr.
