So, I have 2 Gmail accounts and 6 AOL accounts all set up to accommodate different needs. I go to put in my AOL accounts and guess what? Stupid Motorola will only allow 5 accounts from one provider on this phone. I have never seen this before not on my IPhone not on my Thunderbolt and not on the Nexus. WTF Motorola?

Can you forward the email from a seldom used account to one of the others? I do this and it works perfectly. Still use all my accounts I just have to check on less account.

Install K9 mail from the Market. Much better email client.

Definitely try k9. It is very good.

Or just have gmail fetch aol and create separate folders for each account. Why better then using a third party app.

I would agree. You are what is referred to as an edge case. 99% of people will not have this problem. That said, there have been some good suggestions for forwarding or consolidation in this post that should help you.

is this only with the built in email app or is it restricted for any email app. i use k-9 and i am wondering if this will be a problem with that app because it will be a problem with me if it is. thanks.

Actually I love Enhanced EMail it costs a few bucks, but it is my killer app since I have 2 Exchange 2010 based accounts and K9 does not support Exchange 2010.
