    Default If I am in non 4G area can I force 3G

    If I am in a area where there is no 4G, can I force the Maxx to go with 3G if it does not do it automatically?

    It will do it automatically, but the LTE radio will still be on and drawing more battery than with it off... Go to Settings > Wireless & network settings > Mobile networks > Network Mode > select CMDA only... this will set it into 3G... then when you get back to a LTE/4G area change it back to CDMA/LTE.
