Why is the font and keyboard so small on such a large screen?
I was trying to figure out why I'm having a tough time typing on my Maxx.
I pulled out my HTC Thunderbolt and I noticed that the keyboard buttons are larger, as well a the font.
Is there a way to adjust this?

Get swiftkey and you can adjust the size of the keyboard in the settings. Makes a world of difference!!

Wish I could change the font size of the UI. It's a lot smaller than my previous phone.

Could be the screen resolution. Take a PC monitor and increase the screen res...things get smaller.

    That would be awesome!
If so, then this phone will most likely beer a keeper for me.

I would recommend Swiftkey x or Thumb keyboard. Both have great size adjustment options, but thumb keyboard offers way more customization. In ICS you can change the system font and sizes. I have heard the Razr is supposed to get it much sooner than later.

I was able to adjust the keyboard size and color for thumb keyboard.
Since there is no way to increase text size, I'll be looking forward to Ice Cream Sandwich.

You can definitly increase the font size in Thumb Keybord.
    Read manual on web page.
Short: Long press lower left mic symbol, General keybord settings..., All Settings, Font size, font size.
I set it to 200% and I am fine on my tf700.

+1 on Thumb. Makes typing a lot easier plus you can get your keyboard to match your theme colors.
