    Default Help- Triple Text

    Help forum friends. About 75% of time I get 3 of the same text. What is that? How do I fix? Just started right after the update. Not sure if timing but seems odd.
    What can I do to fix?

    First recommendation is to reboot your device... either Power off, and Power up... or Press and hold the Volume Down button, then while that is held down press and hold the Power button, keep them both down for about 5-10 seconds and your device should start rebooting.

    Next, what SMS apps do you have loaded???

    Retired Device (in order): Samsung Galaxy S4, Droid Razr Maxx, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC myTouch 4G, Blackberry's Bold, 8900 (Curve)

    Try uninstalling chomp and using the default app. It may just be a bug in chomp.

    Some people are just noticing this after the latest update, however, I have always gotten multiple texts with this phone even before the latest OTA. It doesn't happen every time but once in awhile a text will come in twice. I'm not sure it was caused by this update.

    My fiance and I both use the Maxx...that being said, she's stayed with the official OS, and since the .181 upgrade she's been getting a ton of duplicate texts, almost every one. She just uses the stock SMS app

    I did the ICS leak and I've been having no issues.

    Making me think that it is an OS issue, but I'm not sure.
