Trouble with NYT app

I got a great offer from the NYT. $5 for 12 weeks all access (web/tablet/smartphone) I'm able to log in all but my smartphone. Is anyone else having similar issues? I can enter my email address, but when I try to put in my password and press the "log in" button, my password clears out and am told I need to re-enter my password again. I tried several ways, but I keep getting denied.

I just searched Play... the only thing it's returning is NYTimes app... is that what you are talking about???

Yes, it's the same app. If you have an account with the NYT, you're supposed to open the app, go to settings, then log in from there. (I think it's a 1 time set up) but I can't seem to be allowed to properly log in.

Have you tried to go to their website and submit a Contact Us to their customer service?

I tried about 36 hours ago. Still no reponse. Guess I'm a bit impatient.

What browser are you using and its it set to full view our mobile view. Not sure if subscriptions work on it but I use US newspapers app from play store .

I have this app and had a similar problem..I turned the phone off over night and tried again and was able to log on.

Not using a browser. Trying to log in from the app itself. But will try that trick of powering off my phone.
