Price drop. And then not :/
I was excited to see the Razr Maxx had dropped to $249.99 yesterday. I went to check on the Razr price and I see the Maxx is back to $299.99
Stupid Motorola/Verizon. By time the phone drops to my maximum price to pay for a phone, $199.99, they'll have a better one out. I may as well just get a Droid 4 now and start the clock over on my ETF as soon as possible. - 05-09-2012, 07:53 AM #2

Re: Price drop. And then not :/
I saw the Amazon price the other day, I'm leery of purchasing a phone with a 3rd party.
Besides, a 2012 BMW will be just as good as anything they come out with for the next 5 years.
I'd take a 1999 BMW if the owner didn't smoke and kept the car in an OtterBox the entire time. - 05-09-2012, 11:41 AM #5

Re: Price drop. And then not :/
Better is relative to a users needs. Yes the display is 720p and for you it may be better, but for my needs it's not. It's got a 1620mAh battery. Try really giving that thing a good workout on 4G, a lot of display on time and getting a full days use out of it like the Maxx can. I may move up to other devices in the future, but they better have a battery like this. This IS the standard for me now.

I got mine from Amazon without a hitch. Both Amazon and Verizon were great to deal with (I was switching carriers).

It's been just over a month since I purchased my MAXX at a Verizon corporate store for $199.
