Verizon ICS text message!!

Not sure about when this will happen. I just received a text message from Verizon stating that my phone will soon be upgraded to Android 4.0. VZW wanted to let me know that the VZW IM app will no longer work with Android 4.0.

This may be an indicator ICS will happen sooner rather than later!!!

Imagine that. A native Verizon app that won't be compatible with a new OS on a Verizon phone. Shocking.

Moto Cast just updated to 2.0 on my work computer (213mb update at that) and the system update is "not available at this time" so it is either overload or pending something. who the #$%^ knows, im just speculating, but what better place to spread ideas (rumors)?

I got the MotoCast update on my work pc as well but nothing yet on the phone.

The only text I have received from Verizon was to please return the defective device to avoid being charged.

I don't care what kind of phone you use, that's not how I judge someone's worth or intelligence. Sent using tapatalk 2.

Maybe only those who have actually used the VZW IM app will get this text message. I haven't received the message, but there's no reason for me to use VZW's IM app since I only use the phone's texting function for messaging.
