For me the scoop of the ice cream is delicious. I like the blue text in the black background for pop ups, and it is just great with many improvements. It's a big improvement over my last phone which was an LG Quantum (Windows Phone 7 Phone.) That's all I have to say

Hardly used my wife's Maxx since the update but one thing I noticed , text, font , not only the ICS std style but it doesn't seem as jagged , as my wife put it it looks more like the GNexus, I'd have to use hers more and she's at work today so I barely used it post update early this morning but would have say it's noticeable improvement as to me my work RAZR n wife's Maxx , I notice the jaggies as I'm mostly using my GNexus...
she didn't want ics but with the subtle Blur thrown in she was surprised and not so worried about her phone becoming like my GNexus as she put it .
The moto ics lock screen is pretty cool . My GNexus is all stock , I need find a home screen option similar to that of the new moto ics.

One word AWESOME. Much smoother, inside camera low light much improved. Foxfi still works. So many more apps available for ics. Many more improvements. Just a few off the top of my head.

It's really good, I love the new font, the ability to disable junk apps is awesome, and a lot of the apps I use look nicer with the ICS treatment.

It truly does. The Maxx was a great device before but having ICS is the cherry on top. I cant wait for everyone else to be able to experience this.

Camera is vastly improved. Face lock is pretty neat. Chrome Beta is liquid smooth.

some HD video i took at the aquarium store earlier.

the autofocus takes a second, and when i was too close to the glass it wouldnt focus on some of the salt water plants. but when i moved to the other fish i stepped back and the autofocus worked well. think the aquarium glass was messing with the sensors.

Yup, that's how I feel too, like a new phone. The fonts are much better and somewhat mitigate the pentile display problems .... meaning you don't see some of the zigzaginess (is that even a word?) on the smaller fonts.

It's the first time I've used a phone that has felt as polished as an iphone. The Maxx's huge battery is icing on the cake. ICS may turn this phone into "the" phone to have for power users.

It's worth rooting just to use SQLite editor to enable the built in hotspot. It's in the same database, just entry 79 instead of 150.
