Replacing the screen

Is it possible or should I just send it on and have insurance fix it?

It's certainly 'possible' http://www.doctorquickfix.com/Motor...Repair/Motorola-Droid-Razr-Maxx-Screen-Repair but that doesn't mean that it's practical. I'm sure you could find a cheaper deal; this was just one of the links that I found. But that's what you pay for insurance for, isn't it?

Thats steep. I bought one with a cracked screen and even if i hit up the insurance to fix it I'm still only out $360.

I dropped my MAXX about 2 feet, landed on its back and the screen cracked all to hell. Still works perfectly, just looks like hell. I just got the phone off Ebay too and didn't add the insurance :/
