Re: Don't Bother Checking for ICS it is NOT ready
You sir, aim to take away our hopes and dreams. I'll have none of that. I'll be pressing the system update button twice as hard now, and I'll curse the name mgindi26 as I do it.

Re: Don't Bother Checking for ICS it is NOT ready
Testing basically means soak test. As we know that the soak test has been going on I think it is safe to assume we are at or very close to available.

Re: Don't Bother Checking for ICS it is NOT ready
The Soak Test is done... I did receive an email this morning that the soak test is official over with as of this morning. I don't know how long it will take for them to get the approval to officially begin the OTA, but it should not take too long.

What part of "phased rollout to selected users" dont yall understand?
Phased means just that, waves. They are probably still making tweeks to their rollout hardware or something. It is still Q2 and they are making progress. At least they have a working build done and arent just still working on it. - 06-28-2012, 08:51 AM #9MAXX, XOOM and a Tab 2 all unrooted

I have it. Too bad you don't have it a lot of people have it. Stop whining like a baby.
If you want it bad enough put it on your phone yourself. It takes about 10 minutes to do the whole process.
Too much drama too much drama too much drama.

Re: Don't Bother Checking for ICS it is NOT ready
Look I found that site and figured if anyone knew it would be Motorola. So if Moto's own site says it's in testing who am I to disagree? If it was a VZW rep or just hearsay I can unfderstand you getting upset but this is Moto's own site! As for people getting it maybe their selectively picking people outside of the soak? I don't know, I want ICS as bad as anyone else. It's Just frustrating, and when I saw Moto's own site with the info I just figured I would share it with you.

Re: Don't Bother Checking for ICS it is NOT ready
When I give info I give a source that you can check. So i see your poppycovk and I raise you.Maybe you got lucky, maybe they found a glitch after begining the OTA then shut it down. I donk't know. All I know is that thereare now 2 sources tat are verifiable that it's delayed. Oh and BTW I'm still checking for updates despite this, i just don't get upset when it's not there.
Motorola RAZR ICS update delayed past Q2 launch schedule
Bad news for those of you who opted for one of Motorola’s super-skinny new Android-powered RAZR phones as your current mobile, as the Google-owned phone maker has announced its Android 4.0 updates for the Motorola RAZR and the newer RAZR MAXX have been delayed.
Android 4.0 upgrades for both RAZR variants were supposed to hit in Q2, which we’re just about to reach the end of without seeing any update notification joy. Here’s Motorola on the delay:
For those asking for information about the ICS upgrade for RAZR and RAZR MAXX, we have had a delay which means we’re unable to roll out in Q2 as planned. We’re working through the changes that need to be made to the software to ensure you get the best experience from all the new features ICS will bring. We will update you when we have further details on a new roll out. - 06-28-2012, 10:29 AM #23

@paulvarts select DROID RAZR/RAZR MAXX owners will get the ICS upgrade per standard process Broader deployment will come soon
