I have been having issues with the stock email client since I first got the phone. I still use hotmail and yahoo and have them both in the stock email client. After a week or 2 the phone will stop pulling emails and I will have to delete the accounts and add them back in to get mail to pull again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Use the "Hotmail" app from Google Play for Hotmail. It is a push e-mail. I don't know about Yahoo, as I don't use it.

I have Yahoo and I noticed a few times where the last update was hours ago. At first I thought it was my phone but over time I think it's Yahoo servers "at fault". Eventually the push catches up during the bad days where the e-mails are not pushed that often or close to actual present time.

I don't know about Hotmail as I don't use it.
