people cannot hear me on rebuilt RAZR MAXX...

Well, long short, my razr maxx got basically destroyed in a 2 story drop on concrete. I took it to Best Buy where i had my insurance...and shockingly they chose to repair it...took almost a month to have it back...now nobody can hear me on phone conversations. My buddy says it sounds like I'm talking through a 1980's synthesizer. So what gives? Is this a common issue or am i gonna have to take it back AGAIN? If its common is there a workaround?

Take it back and demand a new phone...

Not a common issue. As mentioned above, take it back and ask for a replacement. Or you could keep it if you like sounding like Gary Numan singing "Cars."

Before you do anything, call your best friends as a restricted number and quote Optimus Prime.

It's, uhh.... required by Best Buy policy...

haha, yea, i think i'll call all my friends and some of my not-friends and quote Optimus Prime, as, uhm, suggested above...lol

still gotta talk to Best Buy, but i think i may have solved a lot of it...sound effects was on...but, some people are still complaining. i'm gonna change phones with my fiancee and have her call me and see if I have issues hearing her. if i do, then i'll take it back. if not, then i'll tell everyone to turn up their hearing aids.
