    Default Hoccer...?

Anybody use it? Seems a really neat app for family & friends.

This seems pretty interesting. I'll give this a try myself later and let you know how it goes.

That sounds neat, but gimmicky. It's all fun and games until you accidentally throw your phone as well as the file you were trying to transfer. Then your Maxx ain't so pretty no more ...

lol Well it has that bump feature that other phones with NFC have, but it uses GPS instead I believe. I don't think you HAVE to go throwing it around, but it's like how kids were with Wii remotes. All those poor tv's..

After seeing the demo video, the swiping files across 2 different screens did look really cool. But boy, the temptation to fling files would probably be too great!

After playing with it, I'm both impressed & at the same time a little dubious. My testing has been a bit limited due to my wife's iPhone3. We could transfer files OK using swipe or pitch & catch after getting acclimated to the functions. I "threw" MP3 files & the iPhone received but could not play them. Of course, this could be a quirk in the iPhone3 for all I know. It may or may not have native support for MP3? Still, a fun toy. FWIW, the RAZR just smokes the iPhone in transfer speed side-by-side on the same network.
