Verizon level 2 tech support has decided to give me a like-new refurb Verizon Razr Maxx to replace my Verizon Thunderbolt due to having data connectivity problems for many weeks. I just want to know if you Razr Maxx owners are having data/internet connectivity problems too, or if everything is generally okay? Thanks! Casey
You're in SF? I'm in Sunnyvale. I haven't had any 4G problems in the South Bay, except in areas that are known black holes anyway. There's an app called Coverage Map which can give you an idea of voice and data signals in your area, based on crowdsourcing. Check it out here:
Yes, I'm in San Fran, which is generally a major 4G area. But for past several weeks or longer, my Thunderbolt has been acting strangely with poor data/internet connection. It's not just me either, as a number of Thunderbolt users are complaining of the same thing. I'm not sure if it's a device issue or a Verizon carrier issue. I will receive a refurb Razr Maxx in a few days, so hopefully the Razr will have better connection, fingers crossed!
