Re: smart action
You're using smart actions...
But seriously, look into either juice defender or llama. Smart actions was a good idea but it is seriously flawed.

Re: smart action
Can we agree to disagree? I thought it was a wonderful idea, it just never did what it was suppose to do when it was suppose to do it at a high enough success rate.
It pissed me off more than once so that's where i stand.

Re: smart action
I also found it more annoying than useful, when it did work it was awesome. But it was a pain when it didn't listen to the triggers

Re: smart action
Smart Actions is a battery hog.. It's one more thing that is constantly monitoring what you're doing and where you're doing it. I had it on for awhile, and after I turned it off I got about 2 or 3 more hours of battery per charge.

Re: smart action
I have had my issues with SmartActions, but I still use it. I'd say if you can not get anything working, then I'd do into Settings > Apps > click on Smart Actions > Clear data and then Clear cache > Home... then I'd recommend a reboot... then try setting things up again. You might have lost some things, but it's generally pretty easy to setup a couple actions.

Re: smart action
setting them up was never an issue. getting them to come on or off when they're suppose to was the issue.

Re: smart action
I have three (3) rules... Sleep (Silent, Wifi-Off, Cellular data-Off, Background sync-Off) when I plug in at night, Morning (Ringer-Off) when I unplug in the morning so I don't wake my wife when I unplug it in the morning, and Work (Silent - Vibrate) when I'm at work location. Works every day, all the time.

Re: smart action
Like said above, location based triggers worked sometimes, time based was fine

Re: smart action
As i am commuting to work, the home location would disable, then for some random reason re enable sometimes even 10+ miles from home. My work one when I get to work, it enables, as i walk around my office, it would randomly disable and enable. It is just too unreliable for me to use location since it can't accurately come on and off at home and work.
