Re: Jellybean?
Blah blah blah if people aren't willing to fix stuff by themselves should just go buy an iphone.
Oh wait. That wouldn't really work either.
Sucks to suck
Did you do a factory reset after you upgraded?

Re: Jellybean?
I would beg to differ.
They would be willing to do almost anything to keep you as a customer. They have some of the best customer service around. Period.
Verizon doesn't design updates lmao, first of all I'm not even motorola officially announced an update even being worked on, so for people to expect it like they are kings is ridiculous.
For all we know verizon could be holding an update because maybe it isn't good enough, which in turn would be looking out for their customers by not allowing a bad update.
Now I personally believe a lot of the issues from ics are user error or something to do with what certain people have installed, because I know my phone, and several others phones have been working flawlessly.
Remember the majority of people only come to forums to complain, I'm one of the few that comes to praise their phone.

Re: Jellybean?
You prove a point but when they push an update out before testing it and thus the results are majority of people complaining about the same stuff, it is bad on them. I praise verizon every day for their customer service and cell phone 3g and 4G speed. What I don't like is when something is rushed and when they are telling customers they are pushing out a fix and don't then that's wrong.

Re: Jellybean?
What I can say about the bugs and the like after ICS is that my battery life has decreased, and the phone freezing/restarting (sometimes) when switching to the gallery from the thumbnail in the camera UI. Besides those, I haven't noticed any other performance issues.
To elaborate on the battery life, while on GB, I was able to get around 30-35 hours on my rendition of normal usage. After updating to ICS, using the phone the same amount, I can only get 17-22 hours.
I think the problem most people on here that are complaining is that, even though compared to other phones out there, 20 hours of battery life is great, the Maxx should be getting above 30 hours on a single charge, and this ICS update is preventing that from happening. It is very annoying in my eyes since the phone's selling point is the battery.

Re: Jellybean?
if you believe they push updates before testing them then you are as dumb as you sound. no offense. also you and a few others are not the majority im afraid. the majority have no issues, only the few that post on here about the same sh!t week end and week out. im not trying to bash you, but your logic is flawed.

i would like to jump out on a limb here and say that if 20 hours out of a charge is not good enough for you then im afraid you just cannot be satisfied. ICS takes more out of the battery, plain and simple, and then next upgrade will do the same. that is just the way it is. consider yourself lucky to get 20 hours. most smartphones dont make it 10 hours...Thanked by 2: - 09-24-2012, 04:13 PM #19
Re: Jellybean?
I hope you do not think that the only people to complain are on these forums. Because if that is so then you need to wake up my friend. If you also do not think that carriers do not push out updates to make their listed deadline then your thinking is asinine. Not to bash you man

Re: Jellybean?
They really EVER push out an update just to reach a deadline, search around on other forums a bit and you see that plan people have to wait longer than their deadlines to get an update.
People come to forums to complain, plain and simple. The people on the forums are the minority of the owners, what may be a thousand or two registers razr/maxx users out of hundreds of thousands who own the phone? And not everyone who comes here complains so that makes the people with issues a even smaller group.
