Problems with GPS
Ever since the update I've had problems with my gps. When I use Nav it takes 5to 10 minutes for it to locate satellites no matter where I am. It worked fine before. Any suggestions.

Re: Problems with GPS
Some others that have had the issue talk about doing a factory reset... check out Gps thread.

Re: Problems with GPS
Since the Android uses A-GPS (Assisted GPS), it will lock a position faster if there's connection to the Internet (or maybe even just to a network). I suggest you update the A-GPS data once in a while. That can be done by turning on the GPS and some app that uses it, while connected to the Internet.
An easy way to do it is to do so manually. Apps such as GPS Status can download it for you on demand. - 10-31-2012, 02:50 AM #4Thanked by:
