i just got my maxx over the weekend. and i've noticed that i can't adjust the earpiece volume while i'm on a call, unless i take the phone away from my head. is there a way to fix this? or an option to allow in call volume adjustment? this seems silly to me

I've noticed this as well. Doesn't look like there's a way to get around it.

all the razr's and maxx's do this. unfortunately even with a custom rom, you still have to pull the phone away from your ear to adjust volume. a flaw in the design/software, but one of the few small complaints about this phone as a whole.
