Don't our do the FRS before or after an update? I'm assuming I need to backup my stuff that is not on the SD card too, right?

I am going to do a factory reset after the update comes out, just to clear anything out.
Thankfully, I have all pictures set to auto upload to Dropbox, and I only have one app that requires a true back-up of information. All else, I just have to remember the log-ins, and let it roll.
It still is a pain to do it, but after having to do a factory reset 4 times since receiving ICS and the unofficial / official JB build in December just to try and clear out problems that keep coming up, that did not exist when the phone was on Gingerbread.
Just my opinion
If you're a soak tester, do NOT factory reset. Moto specifically asks testers not to do so during the test.

I've only got a Razr, but I was just pushed the update by Verizon. I am NOT part of the soak test.
