Thumbs up *FIXED* Bricked Droid Razr Maxx (Last running 98.72.16) Jellybean 4.1.2

To begin, what happened is I was trying to put AOPK on my phone () So, I downloaded the ZIP file, place it on my SD card. Next, I turned off the phone - loaded stock recovery (holding all 3 side buttons at once) then went to apply update from external storage.

I selected the aopk and then got a message after "verifying update" that installation was aborted. After this, I wiped the cache and wiped the factory, then tried to reboot and I can only get the Motorola icon, and then after a few secs it changes to a blank screen and does nothing.

I don't know what else to do, I have tried multiple things, to fix this. But my problem is, I can't find how to flash (98.72.16) to it, if that is even what I need to do.

Help would be great as I have no phone right now...

If possible, could someone point me to a website that has flashable ROMs for Droid Razr Maxx? in the XML format, so I could attempt flashing a ROM?

Did you remove the AOKP install file off your SD card?

I'm not sure I can help, but maybe point you the right direction... go to ... they have links to the ROM and probably have some answers on flashing it, which I'm sure you can do similar to what you did with the previous zip file. This time you might want to check the MD5 Sum code before you try to install it.

Can you tell me what exactly the MD5 Sum code is exactly?

It verifies the integrity of the file to confirm that it is an exact duplicate of the file you downloaded. If the md5 didn't match, the download could have ended early or it could be corrupt.

You should always verify the checksum before flashing. Astro is a free android app that can check the md5.
