Update issue! Help! Phone is now a paper weight!

I had gotten tired of my phone telling me to update to 4.1.1 (Jelly bean I believe) so I decided to update. After finishing the update my phone began to boot up. I then got to the decrypt storage pass which had the keypad partially of the screen, only 1/10 of the #0 was showing. then I entered my sim pass. It booted and it was just a black screen with the top bar showing. No home screen was able to maneuver to the settings but no apps, home screen or such. so I rebooted (using pwr+vol down). rebooted and entered sim and storage then when it began to boot through it gets stuck at the droid eye screen. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like the update went astray. Do a few searches in the forums here and look for installing JB via micro-sd card.

Maybe someone else has a better idea that isn't as drastic.
