Me question

My phone works fine, even better since JB.
And, this is not a problem...it's just irritating.
In the text messages, I have pix show up during a conversation of the person I have the conversation with because, their phone number has a pic with it, right?
My pic in that conversation just has a blank box.
I have put a pic with my phone number and my name is correct but still no pic shows up.
I type in my name to send myself a text and the contact appears as 'Me' with no picture beside it.....???
But, when I look through my contacts, I don't have a contact named 'Me'.
Now, I'm not particularly vane and need to see myself.
It's just one of those things that bugs me cause I can't figure it out.
Anyone else had this happen or know how to fix it?
I know it's user error.
This was the same thing with ICS. I was hoping JB (clean reinstall) would fix it.
I'm thinking it's some WinGhost from my past cause I Frissbeed my Windows ME disc years ago.

FYI...JB does a much better job of integrating contacts than before. They don't double up as much when you import FB contacts.

Me is located in the People app and the very top of the list of People... you can edit it and put in a picture of Me by Menu > Edit and then clicking on the blank image and Select from the Gallery or Take a new photo.

OMG...you mean under the one that says "ME" in big letters....??
you could have at least smothered it in some fancier language that didn't make ME feel so

I have the same problem.

On my Droid Incredible, *my* photo (from Facebook) was always synced directly to the phone.

Now, on my Droid Razr Maxx, I just get the grey box.

I've added a photo to Google+ -- added myself as a contact (and deleted myself, when that didn't work).

I'm still on ICS, but I can't find *anyone* that can explain why all my other contacts will sync, but my own photo won't sync up with any of the online locations where I have a photo.

*SOLVED* - for me, it was as simple as opening/accepting Google Plus on my phone. I deleted my existing "ME" contact and when I opened Google+, it immediately populated.
