Not getting Gmail

Just got my Razr...love it. One problem and I can't figure it out...something simple I'm sure. I'm not getting gmail on my phone unless I initiate a sync. If I initiate a sync it comes through fine. Any ideas?

Your gmail isn't set to auto sync i'm assuming. Go into settings, accounts click the account email. Make sure whatever you want is checked green. if this doesn't work make sure that background data is on. That's in settings, data manager.

I'm not getting Gmail or my work email either. I want to use moto email and not the Gmail app, but it isn't syncing. I think this is a software issue, as it is set to push and fetch every 15 minutes, yet I get no emails until I force a refresh.

Did you have any luck finding a solution? My Razr is doing the exact same thing. When I force a sync it works fine and will keep working for some period.(a few hours I believe) Then it stops again. Please let me know what you find/found.
