Launcher pro plus here as well. I hated the white glow on the stock launcher.

I find Launcher Pro to be a more stable than ADW.

Is the app launcher laggy in launcher pro?

It was on my Bionic. I am still using the stock launcher on my razr.

None. I'm running completely stock on this phone. I have no reason to add any additional battery drain since everything is working so smoothly.

I did use Launcher Pro on my Droid X though - it was always pretty smooth and had very little redraw.

Saves me some typing...lol Although I was stock GB launcher on my Droid X. Need to see how Widget Locker does.

I always had battery issues and freezing problems with ADW and Launcher Pro. Been running Go Launcher EX on all of my Droid devices for a while now and never once had any issues. It also has the most user options for changing behavior and appearance.

Sporting LPP and Go Launcher without any issues whatsoever.
Battery drain from using a home replacement? Never had that issue with any of my previous android devices.

Thinking of going for GO Launcher EX today -- how are the themes?

I've heard nothing but +++ about Go Launcher.

I'm not a big fan of IOS but I've seen a few people running iPhone Go Launcher Themes and they look very close to IOS. I prefer the Honeycomb or CM7 themes. I'm sure there is an ICS theme on the way also.

You will go blind (or insane) looking at all of the themes for go Launcher. There's some paid themes but there's also a ton of free themes.
The themes are allover the place. All kinds of colors and shades ,shapes ,OS imitations...

I just installed Go Launcher today and it works fine. I had it on the Incredible before and it was slow at times on that phone.

Another vote for go launcher ex. I've been using it for a few years and love it. I was really hoping to stay stock on the RAZR but only having four options on the bottom dock isn't enough. I do like how I can still use the motor Widgets with a different launcher. I wasn't able to do that with HTC.

Using go launcher since Droid x days... no issues. No lag. No freeze. Nothing slow. Watchdog shows 0.1% cpu usage. So thats about 10sec off your battery charge per phone bootup. Lmfao..... like he said... battery loss from a launcher????????????????

I love watchdog.... proves so many schizophrenics and android urban legends wrong.......

The one problem I have had with home replacements, and that is with launcher pro, and adw.
Ist that I cant change the default. I have to say that I do like the widgets on the moto skin better. But I am so used to the app drawer being in the middle. What the heck?
But yes I would like a home replacement that would allow me to change the default setting back to the original. Any suggestions.
    Thanks......................

I finally had to uninstall Go Launcher because of horrible lag with folders. I've since gone with Zeam and am extremely impressed. The performance reminds me of Go Launcher from over a year ago, before they started adding all the bloat.

Stock still. I really like the UI on the RAZR. I might check out Zeam as I haven't heard of that one before.

Sorry guys but Zeam looks boring. I have a Droid Charge and I've been running Go Launcher since day 1 and love it. Best one out there. Does everything stock launchers can only dream of. I also prefer Go Keyboard to stock and Go Weather is awesome looking. Go Locker is cool too. Everything is practically free compared to Launcher Pro. Right now I am trolling the Razr and Nexus sites for battery comparisons so I'm a little off task but Go Launcher products are the way to go. These pics show you just a couple of a dozen possible transition styles and endless customization possibilities. Notice that not only do I change my wall paper but I can also customize the docks back ground at the bottom. You can make the wallpaper in the app drawer different and make the app scrolling transitions different from the home screen. You can customize the transition out of the app drawer. You can set swipe motions on the home screen to do various tasks like remove the upper notification bar and the lower dock bar for a full screen operation if you'd like. There is nothing Go Launcher can't do. Limited only by your imagination. And no, I don't work for them. Just love their products. See the pics and tell me what other launchers work like this.
Slight edit: I have seen the delay in populating folders as mentioned in an earlier post but I thought maybe that was my single core 512 ram Samsung causing the problem. Now that this has been brought to my attention, no problem, I'm going to move things I have in folders onto their own home screen which should solve that folder lag issue. BTW, Go Launcher allows up to 30 Home Screens if your into that kind of thing or maybe try another folder app like circle launcher along with my Go Launcher. It's pretty cool too.

There is nothing it can't do, except open a folder without lag on the razr.

I agree its a great launcher and I had zero issues with it on my incredible. For some reason it just has issues on my razr that other launchers don't.
