Crackling in earpiece

Has anyone noticed a faint crackling noise in the earpiece with the new Droid Razr?

I assume this is not normal so the phone is going back today. It is at all volumes, and mostly at the lower volumes when I can hear it.

It does not occur with the speakerphone.

Sounds like a loose connection. Return it.

Just returned it and no more crackling. Must have been a bad unit. Are they known for bad quality control? I never had this problem with blackberry.

I noticed this with a store unit I tried, being a store unit anything could be amiss, but maybe it's more common. As for BB, yep, their QC is top notch....LOL!
