Picked up a new Razr last week. I've tried to sync/transfer the phone numbers from my phone to my gmail acct with no luck (gmail acct had no contacts on it at all). I searched Google and have checked and done about every troubleshoot out there. Today, however i noticed that the two new contacts i added to my phone recently have synced up, but not the old ones. Does anyone know what's going on here and can help??? Removing and adding the gmail acct to the phone is not an option because it'll ask to reset the phone. I greatly appreciate any help!!!!

I started out as you did and learned that you first have to export your contacts from your phone into a .csv or vcard file as I recall. Google up sync contact gmail and I think you'll find a couple great forum explanations. Then, in Gmail, you import that file. Then they will indeed sync. Why it works this way I do not know.
