Social Networking services not working

I don't know if this is related or not to anything, but I rooted my phone yesterday and later that day experienced a black screen of death. The screen would turn on, the notification bar was visible, and the capacitive buttons all functioned but nothing else would be displayed. I had to do a hard reset from the bootloader menu and the problem was corrected (albeit at the price of wiping all my apps and data).

The main problem I'm having now since the hard reset is that the Motoblur social networking widget doesn't work and I can't seem to add my facebook account to my accounts. Has anyone experienced this problem? Is Motorola Social Networking services down?
