    Default Data problem after update.

    After the update data still sometimes won't connect after unlocking. (I have a smart action that turns off cellular data when display is turned off.) I have to toggle airplane mode. I thought the update would address data issues. Anyone else having this issue?

    The update turned cellular data off on many people's phone. I had to go into settings to turn it back on. Could that be the problem?

    Data does work. Just won't come back on after being turned off by smart actions.

    I am having the same problem. I use a smart action to shut off data when on wifi. When I come off wifi reconnect is sometimes not automatic and I have to toggle airplane mode too.

    Im having the same error. When i use a smart action or WiFi and deactivate it the Data never comes back on, but sometimes when im browsing the data just randomly shuts off and i have to toggle airplane mode to reactivate it.... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

    Same problem here. I am starting to get very annoyed with Verizon's updates that attempt to fix one problem, and cause another. If I call they will just tell me to hard reset, and I really dont want to do that.

    Some have said Smart Actions may have went haywire. There was a lil update to it most probably didnt notice. It offers suggestion to you now.

    Try not using it and see if that helps or deleting all your SM involving data and starting from scratch to see if it helps.

    I really wish I didn't update. I was humming along fine before the update. sure I had data issues once in a while, and the airplane mode toggle would fix it. but it was pretty rare. today, i've been losing data, not just in 4g mode, but in 3g also. I was reading a/c article about top apps, and my screen froze. the buttons worked, but I couldn't select anything on the screen. I couldn't power off, so I had to do the "hard boot" power + down volume trick to reset the phone.

    I lost 3G/4G as well after I updated today. Went to the Verizon store for tech support I was told that coverage was lost at least in my area and won't be up until tomorrow. I am now getting spotty 3G coverage. Has anyone tried a hard reset? And if they did has it worked

    I'm having the same issues with that Smart Action setup. I had read somewhere that it got weird after the update, but I got it the day it rolled out and haven't had any issues until today. Called Verizon and found out there is another LTE outage in Chicago. Seems like an outage happens every week lately.

    Well knock on wood, today I havent had one problem with data reconnecting after phone calls or after smart action disabled it. I won't get to excited yet, but maybe, just maybe verizon did something out there to help out.
