I got my Razr 2 days ago now, and when it's worked--it's worked well. BUT--I've already had to visit my local Verizon store once yesterday due to force close issues and all of my apps/homescreen disappearing and throwing errors. They did a hard reset and sent me on my way...and it worked fine.
Last night, right before I docked it to go to bed, it asked me to do the new software update...so I told it OK and docked it to allow it to download and install the update. I went to sleep. I woke up this morning, undocked it, and all of my homepage icons are gone as are all of my shortcuts/widgets/contacts...and it's still throwing continuous force close errors...and now, it's rebooting about once every 5-10 minutes or so on it's own, just sitting on my desk w/o me messing w/it.
So--I'm off to the Verizon folks again this afternoon. I'm torn b/c I really like the phone and Motorola, but even the Verizon folks asked me last night why I got the Razr instead of the Galaxy Nexus with ICS. I don't know whether or not to tell them to give me another Razr and just assume this one is a lemon...or to go ahead and say adios to the Razr and go with the Galaxy Nexus after only 3 days.
What say you, folks?
