Does anyone want to speculate when the razr will get ics?

Re: Ics predictions
Going off the update window that some of the manufactures and carriers have given I would say at least a few months.... Only 2 phones that have "official" ICS is still the GN and the Nexus S. Not even the Nexus S 4G has official ICS yet so that gives a little indicator...

Re: Ics predictions
I'll guess and say April. Once the unofficial roms get 4G data sorted out they will be my daily driver.

Re: Ics predictions
I have seen everything to gingerbread and I am not impressed. I was hoping ics would bring a fresh new face to android.

They will promise us ics by early feb. Do a soak test by end of feb. Stop updates on early march cus of bugs and motoblur doesnt work well with ics. Leave the rest of us in sadden state unless we root and insert ics ourselves. And then after one ui technician finishes the software. We will all be seeing it coming to our devices by early April.

It shouldn't be too long now. That first fix update came out pretty quick, so maybe that's a good sign for ICS on the RAZR sooner rather than later. I'll be happy if I see it in March.

Not to sure about that. Maybe first time buyers don't know. But anyone coming from say their second android phone knows. Loved my Razr and for skinned phones it was the best to me. Motorola added a lot of functionality to it in blur and I think that will be what holds up Tue update. Gave it to my mom to replace the tbolt I gave her. Hope sooner than later, as she really liked to look and feel of ICS.
Its funny though the things you take for granted that skinned phones have baked in that stock just doesn't have. Might get the white one as a backup. That one is the sexiest android phone period.

Gotta disagree with you there. Over the last 3 months we have upgraded phones on 3 of our 4 lines so I have been spending some time in the VZW store. While waiting to be waited on I would eves drop on the employees conversations with customers. I can't tell you how many people were upgrading from the OG, Eris and Incredible that would ask what Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich or 4.0 meant.
People that post in forums are knowledgeable about these types of things, text average Android user isn't.
